Aliso Viejo, CA. April 11th, 2005 – The Real Estate Apprentice Foundation today announced that The Walt Disney Company has approved the use of its Master Recording “Go the Distance” (Michael Bolton) for the Foundation’s soon to be released DVD. The soundtrack was negotiated through Clearance Quest of Nashville, Tennessee and Madacy Entertainment/Countdown Media of Montreal Quebec, Canada. The DVD release is expected in May.
According to the Foundation’s Deputy Executive Director, Dr. Martin Oliver, “The video was shot live on location in Atlanta and will be seven minutes in length. The DVD will feature the Real Estate Apprentice story, an interview with Kendra Shearer – The Grand Prize Winner, information on the application process, the Apprentice Grant philosophy, sponsor details, and how newly licenses real estate agents and real estate brokerage companies can get involved.
Post-production and creative work was done by Collage Digital Video in the well-known movie territory of Burbank California. With a specialty in dealing with Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporations, Collage was chosen from a list of many companies because of their expertise and solid reputation for quality film making for over 20 years. Collage was recommended by a USC School of Cinema Alumni.
The Real Estate Apprentice Grant Program is open to all new real estate students that are US or Canadian citizens or legal residents that have taken or will be taking a real estate licensing course or who became licensed as a new agent during the six month grant season period (January 1st to June 30th 2005) or 90 days preceding this period. Interested persons can apply online at www.RealEstateApprentice.com. Every six months inaugurates a new Season. The competition is judged on the basis of answers to essay questions, which demonstrate: Salesmanship and communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, creativity, and uniqueness.
