Real Estate Apprentice Foundation Announces $250,000.00 in Grants
Aliso Viejo, Calif. July 5th, 2004 – The newly formed Real Estate Apprenticeä Foundation and its sponsors have announced that the total value of The Real Estate Apprenticeä Grants will total a quarter of a million dollars ($250,000.00) annually, the largest amount ever allocated to the betterment of new licensed real estate agents.
The Grant program was announced last week and formally opened its doors for applications on Thursday July 1st and be accepting applications for the first phase until the end of this year. During the six-month period, ten successful and lucky real estate agents will qualify to win grants that include real estate education, mentoring, coaching, advertising, products and services. The overall winner, who will also be awarded the title “The Real Estate Apprentice,” will receive a grant totaling $75,000 while nine finalists will individually be receiving a grant valued at over $5,000 each. Grants made will not require any form of repayment.
Details of the Grants
Prizes include:
Education
- Unlimited access to all RealtyU® online or offline real estate courses for one year at any RealtyU® School or College nationwide.
- A comprehensive set of real estate books covering such topics as: Business planning, marketing, prospecting, Internet technology, branding, team building, communication, financial planning, legal issues, and a real estate dictionary.
- One-year subscription to the leading industry magazines National Real Estate and Relocation and Broker Agent News.
License & Fees
- Reimbursement of the winner’s fees for his or real estate licensing course, examination and state license fee.
- Membership dues for the winner’s local, state and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) for one year.
Technology Tools
- An extensive suite of software such as contact management, MLS access, flyer, letter writing, business planning and career building.
- A cell phone with free U.S. business service for one year.
- A personal wireless digital assistant for one year.
- A new laptop computer with printer.
Coaches/Mentoring
- Unlimited weekly real estate mentoring, money-making systems and business strategies for one year from iSucceed.
- One personal technology real estate coach for: Systems, setup, training, software use, customer relationship management, database management and follow-up systems.
- One personal productivity real estate coach for: Marketing ideas, prospecting ideas, sales guidance, increasing client base, gaining listings, closing, cash flow development, financial planning, follow-up, accountability and mentoring.
Marketing
- A completely customized personal identity marketing kit, including business cards, personal promotional material, specially designed ads and postcards.
Personal Customized Business Website
- The creation and maintenance for one year of your own custom made personal business real estate website.
Networking Opportunity
- Complimentary registration fees, airfare and accommodation to attend the next annual National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) convention.
Working Capital
- Cash allocation for working capital and/or business expenses not covered through the Grant.
Participation is open to new real estate agents that are US/Canadian citizens or legal residents and who will take a real estate licensing course through a recognized real estate school during the period July 1st through December 31st.
