Bernice Green

According to Dr. Martin Oliver, Deputy Executive Director of the Apprentice Foundation, Bernice Green graduated from Terrell County High School and worked at a shirt making facility for about two years before joining the Army. Bernice completed her basic training at Fort Rucker, Alabama as a Military Police Officer and served her first tour in Germany. Once finished she was sent to Atlanta, GA and had the honor in working for General Colin Powell. “Little did I know that he would one day become one of our greatest military officers and Secretary of State.” Thereafter she completed another three years in Germany before she was assigned to Fort Leonard Wood, in Missouri where she met her husband.

Bernice was then selected for Army Recruiting duty. “Much to my surprise, I was actually very good at it and loved the challenge that Army Recruiting provided,” said Bernice. She completed nine years as an Army Recruiter, serving in numerous leadership positions and achieving many awards and commendations. During that time she attended many Zig Ziglar and Dale Carnegie Sales Training sessions to enhance her personal selling skills as well as completing her BS in Management from Park University. Bernice recently retired with 20 years of service to the nation. “It’s been a great ride and opportunity. I am now looking forward to my next career as a real estate agent,” she said.

Michelle Diehl reminds us that according to Helen Keller “Life is a daring adventure or nothing.” Congratulations” says Michelle to each of her real estate clients. “You are embarking on your own adventure of buying a home or selling property. This may be one of the biggest and most emotional decisions of your life but I’m here to guide you every step of the way.” It is evident that Michelle has a real love to help people. Michelle’s personality is driven by faith, confidence and endurance, and as a real estate agent she guarantees that she will be 100% committed to listening to what her clients needs are.

Michelle was born in Southern California, moved to North Carolina and Texas before she arrived in Colorado in 1984. She spent four years skiing before returning to college to finish her degree and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1990 with a BA in Communication and a Type A - General Teaching Certificate. She taught as a Middle School Teacher for four years. After starting a family she did not return to teaching but changed it for the corporate world when she became the Corporate Trainer for BlueCross/BlueShield of Colorado. Numerous camping trips to Steamboat Springs created an opportunity for her husband Steve to purchase the Steamboat Dental Group and together with their two children Ali & Corbin they relocated to Steamboat in 1999. As a family they enjoy camping, boating and skiing and Michelle has even sky dived. She is very active in community and school activities, but her favorite volunteer position is mentoring the high school youth group at their church
