The Board of Directors of the Real Estate Apprentice Foundation has decided to pause the activities of the Foundation.

 

The Real Estate Industry, at this time, is distracted with a complicated real estate market and the challenges of the surging Delta variant. Industry associations and companies appear to not currently have sufficient bandwidth or interest to support a major charitable drive at this time; further, with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion often a political hot potato, many people in our industry also appear to be uncomfortable or not ready to participate in a broad-based initiative of this nature.

 

The Foundation will pause its donation drive and grant-giving activities until 2022/3 at which time the viability of this charitable initiative will be revisited. All donations received in 2021 are being returned to the donors with tremendous gratitude for their support.
